Need Someone to Talk to About Abortion?

Every woman’s experience after an abortion is different. Some women feel a sense of relief, while others find it more difficult than they expected. Feelings can surface immediately, or they may appear months or even years later.

If you’re struggling emotionally, you’re not alone — and help is available. Many women reach out to us because they are carrying feelings of sadness, regret, anxiety, or unresolved grief and want a safe place to talk.

We offer free, confidential support in a non-judgmental environment. You are welcome here, no matter your story or how long it has been since your abortion.

  • Emotional responses after an abortion can vary widely. Some women experience distress related to their circumstances, relationships, personal beliefs, or the level of support they had at the time. These feelings are not a sign of weakness — they are a human response to a complex experience.

Some women describe challenges such as:
    • persistent sadness or anxiety
    • difficulty processing the experience
    • feeling disconnected emotionally or spiritually
    • reminders or strong emotions tied to certain dates or events

If any of this feels familiar, support can help.

  • We offer individual peer support and small group options designed to help women process their experiences at their own pace. Our goal is not to tell you how to feel, but to walk alongside you with care, respect, and compassion.

All services are free and confidential.

If you’d like more information about ongoing support, you can also visit our Post-Abortion Care Program page.

  • If you or someone you know may be struggling after an abortion, we invite you to reach out. You don’t have to carry this alone.

Please note: We are not a medical clinic and do not provide or arrange for abortions. Any medical concerns should be directed to your healthcare provider.
