Grandmother’s Heart

Our Grandmother’s Heart program is a volunteer home-support ministry designed to provide warm, practical, and relational help for new or expecting moms.

  • The first few weeks after your baby arrives can feel joyful — and overwhelming. That’s where our “Grandmothers” come in. Whether you reach out before birth or soon after, a pair of caring volunteers will visit your home once a week for about two hours, over a six-week period, to help you adjust and feel supported.

Their visits are meant for those early postpartum weeks, offering gentle, practical help in whatever ways are most needed — preparing a meal, folding laundry, assisting with baby care, or simply being a listening friend.

All volunteers are carefully screened and trained to ensure your comfort and safety. Our goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and not alone during this special and often tender season of transition.
